Founded by Rafael Rodriguez and Raphael Saladrigas in 2015, Studio SR has pursued a simple yet ambitious goal: to create architecture that is as distinctive as the people and places it serves.

We have been fortunate to receive various Historic Preservation awards from the City of West Palm Beach and Design Awards from Palm Beach Florida. Work includes restoration work, new construction, Additions and renovations to existing buildings.

Our Team

Rafael A. Rodriguez

Firm Principal

Rafael A. Rodriguez is co-founder and president of Studio SR Architecture and Design based in Palm
Beach, Florida. Rafael holds a degree in Architectural Technology from the New York Institute of
Technology and a Bachelor of Architecture from the City College of New York. He has been a licensed
architect since 1996 and has practiced architecture as a business owner since 2003.

The concept that architecture is an artistic process that enriches the built environment through both aesthetic and technical expertise has been the driving force in his work. He strives for exceptional work and sees himself as collaborator in the construction process while maintaining the project’s integrity and creative vision. Rafael has lived in West Palm Beach since 1996.

Raphael Saladrigas

Firm Principal

Raphael Graduated in 1984 from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. His work has been showcased in Palm Beach and surrounding communities since 1985. His resume includes the 2008 Shuler Award, the 2012 Ballinger Award, and other Historic Preservation Awards. He was a founding member of Studio SR Architecture and Design in 2015. Forever a student of classical architecture, his designs showed dedication to proportion and scale.

Raphael passed away in 2024 and leaves a legacy of beautiful, designed buildings. He is survived by his wife Sandra and daughter Sabine.

Carol Barreto

Sr. Project Manager

Carol graduated in 2017 from Universidad de América in Bogota with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. In addition to her diverse design experience in various areas of architecture, she is specialized in intricate iron and metalwork detailing.

Carol joined Studio SR in 2022, where her strong leadership, organizational skills, and ability to manage complex projects led her to her current role as Project Manager, overseeing high-end residential architecture with precision and creativity.

Sergio Urrea

Associate Architect

Sergio graduated in 2017 from Universidad de América in Colombia with a Bachelor of Architecture degree.

He specializes in architectural design and advanced 3D visualization, bringing creative and technical expertise to Studio SR’s high-end residential projects since joining Studio SR in 2024.
