Unbuilt Projects

Pershing 3 House

To "bring the structure back to its historic glory," proposed renovation of the 1925 Mission style home at 155 Pershing located in the El Cid Historic District consisted of renovations that met current zoning and flood zone requirements.

Inaccurate 1950’s renovations led to the destruction of the original design; window openings were changed and balconies removed. The renovation design consisted of maintaining original window and door openings and installation of a new clay barrel tile roof while maintaining the wood outriggers and wood eaves.

Suma House

Located in the historic Northwood neighborhood of West Palm Beach, this residence embraces the Art Deco style with geometric lines, balanced proportions, and a refined tropical elegance.

The entry sequence opens with a welcoming loggia that flows directly to the pool at the front of the home, creating a bold architectural gesture that seamlessly connects indoor and outdoor living. On the first level, the layout is designed for a dynamic social lifestyle: a formal dining room, and an open living and kitchen area arranged to encourage both interaction and a sense of spaciousness.

Wahington Ave 2

Designed in the Anglo-Caribbean style, the two-story 12,000 S.F. home is in the Prospect Park/ Southland Park Historic district. The long, slender lot featured 85’ of direct intracoastal waterfront. The home designed with entertainment and family areas on the first floor to take advantage of the water views.

On the second floor the bedrooms, including the primary bedroom, enjoy water views and all have access to the generous terrace above the first-floor loggia. The detached 2-story 2 car garage accessed from the paved motor court and linked to the main house with a carport.

The home features a smooth stucco finish on the first-floor elevation and horizontal lap siding on the second floor, reminiscent of many Caribbean Island homes that featured stone framing on the first floor and lighter materials like wood framing on the second floor dating back to the Tudor Style of the 1400’s in England.

Lost Tree Village 2

This unbuilt home designed in the transitional architecture style has style that blends the timeless elegance of classic forms with the sleek, minimalist aesthetics of contemporary design.

It preserves elements like symmetry and proportion found in historical styles but incorporates modern characteristics such as open spaces, large windows, and simplified ornamentation to create a harmonious, balanced, and contemporary appeal. The irregular pie-shaped lot demanded a unique solution catered to the client’s needs and challenges of the site.
