Art House 429

This project involved the renovation and addition to an existing 5,000 S.F. commercial building. The renovations included enlarging the glass area on the street facade for maximum light into the art gallery. The second-floor addition included a new kitchen for the renovated apartments upstairs.

A beautiful landscaped outdoor sculpture garden was incorporated into the design, The building was brought up to Code compliance with all new electrical, plumbing, mechanical work as well as meeting the accessibility requirements.

Recognized for excellence in Rehabilitation/ and Adaptive Re-Use.
This 26,000 S.F. mediterranean revival building was designed in 1926 as South Florida’s first Cadillac dealership.

The showroom was in the front one-story building, while the car repair area was located in the rear 3-story building. Renovation to the building included a new restaurant in the front building, a reception area, offices and a private art gallery in the 3-story rear building. Addition to the building included a new commercial kitchen, exterior dining areas and a landscaped sculpture garden.

The Biltmore Apartments, also known as Mizner Court, is a three-story mediterranean revival style mix-use building in south Florida.

It is a nationally recognized historically landmarked building.

The project entailed the interior renovation of the existing apartments, the installation of impact rated windows and doors, the integration of accessibility elements into the project, and the task of upgrading the building systems, electrical, plumbing and mechanical elements to current building standards.

Included in the renovation were the conversion of 10 one-bedroom apartments into 5 -2-bedroom apartments, hence decrease in total number of apartments from 24 apartments to 18 apartments. All the building condensing unit will be on the roof and properly screened from street below.
